St Lawrence and St Saviour
Here to celebrate,
worship and serve
How to find your way to...
Music plays a central part in worship at St Lawrence and St Saviour and in the contribution
that the churches make to the wider community.
St Lawrence is at the heart of the annual Chobham Festival, which celebrates great
music in all its diversity.
Choir
St Lawrence has a keen choir which gives a vocal lead at the main 10.00am Sunday
Service.
The Choir performs anthems, spirituals or worship songs every four to five weeks.
Organ
St Lawrence has a fine three manual Wyvern organ and St Saviour a fine example of
a small 19th century instrument.
Tower Bells
There is a fine ring of 8 bells at St Lawrence, three of which are more than 500
years old.
Handbells
St Lawrence Church is the home base for the Chobham Handbell Ringers who practise
regularly in the Church Hall and contribute to services from time to time.
They have their own website
