Chobham Festival

The Chobham Festival is an annual, week-long celebration of music with a series of events in St Lawrence Church and at other village venues.

It takes place over two weekends and the intervening week each autumn.

Every three years there is also a Flower Festival, filling St Lawrence Church with floral artistry.

Chobham Festival 2012 Chopin by Candlelight and an evening of Glorious Music of Vienna, from Mozart to Mahler are two of this year’s highlights. The festival starts on trad style with the Jazz Evening. New this year is the ChobLit meet the author lunch.

Yearly events also include the Schools Prom, showcasing the talents of local pupils, Songs of Praise, Compline by Candlelight, performances by Chobham Morris Men and the Chobham Handbells.

The Festival Cafe in the Church Hall always provides refreshments, delicious food and free entertainment over the final two days of the festival.
